Worked as a camera assistant across several ABC television productions, including The Weekly, Hard Quiz, Q+A and Spicks and Specks, supporting camera and technical operations in a multi-camera broadcast environment. My responsibilities included preparing and setting up studio equipment, positioning production monitors, connecting SDI cables and power supplies, managing cable runs, following studio layouts and camera logs, and ensuring equipment was ready for filming. I also worked as a Director's Assistant during a Christmas carols performance featuring Dami Im on Hard Quiz.

I was a camera assistant at the ABC in Melbourne from June 2024 until 2025, working across live and rehearsal settings. I also stepped in as Director’s Assistant during a Christmas carols performance featuring Dami Im on Hard Quiz.

On the camera team

  • Assisted with camera setup and operation in a range of shooting environments.
  • Checked equipment routinely and handled basic troubleshooting to keep cameras performing.
  • Ran video and power cabling between cameras and monitors, and kept the set cable-safe.
  • Supported equipment breakdown and wrap.

As Director’s Assistant

  • Tracked and logged camera numbers to support the director during a Christmas carols performance with Dami Im on Hard Quiz.
  • Cued crew and talent for recording start times, instrumental segments and vocal entrances.
  • Gave real-time support to help the director monitor multi-camera coverage and continuity.
